Please submit your application by 27th July. Apply Now.

  • A two-week English residential facilitators training
  • Receive constructive feedback and support, and an ongoing assessment of your competence
  • Successfully complete the training and become an accredited InnerLinks Transformation Game® Facilitator, enabling you to run Game workshops professionally

Would you like to offer Transformation Game workshops professionally? Or to take your Game experience with friends and colleagues to a deeper level? If you are familiar with the Transformation Game and would like to expand your work and relationship with it, this training will give you that opportunity.

This professional programme is an exciting opportunity to interact more deeply with the Transformation box Game. The training is a highly intensive programme, run over 14 days, with approximately 100 hours of session time. Although there are some time slots free for integration and recreation, most of the time will be spent in session. You can expect to be both stretched and nourished, both challenged and inspired!

The programme gives you a thorough training in the use of the advanced rules in the Facilitators Manual, which includes expanded options for most of the squares. You have many opportunities to practice and watch facilitation in small supervised sessions. These sessions provide you with constructive personal feedback and support, and an ongoing assessment of competence. Besides the playing sessions there are a number of sessions during the training on special topics. These include:

  • Game History and Context
  • Relationship with the Game Deva
  • Inner Work
  • The Structure of the Game
  • Challenging Cards and Situations
  • Miracles
  • Working more deeply with Insights and Setbacks
  • Judgement, Projection and Emotions
  • Power and Empowerment

Throughout the training you will also have plenty of opportunity to play the Transformation Game. The intensive exposure to the Game, both as facilitator and as player, means you can expect to be learning and integrating facilitation skills as well as engaging in your own personal transformation process.

People who successfully complete the training will be accredited by InnerLinks as Transformation Game Facilitators. Accredited facilitators will have the permission of InnerLinks to use the advanced Facilitators Manual, as well as to offer and promote workshops using the Transformation Game name and logo. These are trademarked and copyrighted and only facilitators accredited by InnerLinks have the legal right to use them professionally. The same applies for a specially designed 6-player-board.

The Facilitators Manual will be sent to you two or three months ahead of the training, so you have time to familiarise yourself with it and to facilitate some practice Games. If you keep track of your Game experiences, both as a player and as a practicing facilitator, you can list insights, points to improve, and cards or situations you aren’t sure how to deal with, and these can be addressed in the training. We take the quality of facilitation seriously, and expect participants to come to the training well prepared.

If you haven’t already got a Game set, get one and start getting to know the basic rules! If you can’t find it in your local shops, order from Amazon.

Please note that just taking the training does not automatically guarantee accreditation as a facilitator. However, if you do the preparatory work requested, there should be no problem in reaching the required standards of competence. If for any reason you do not successfully complete the course, you will return your Facilitators Manual to InnerLinks and no accreditation is given.

The training will be led by experienced trainers from InnerLinks, the company which created and developed The Transformation Game®.

Preparation

In order to reach the level of competence in facilitation that we are looking for in the training, it is important that you come to the programme well-prepared. Before you arrive at the training, please read and thoroughly familiarise yourself with the Facilitators Manual. Please also facilitate as many games as possible after receiving the Manual; at the very least 3 practice games are required. This doesn’t have to be in a formal setting; it can just be with friends. Use the Manual of Advanced Rules as a guide (rather than just the instruction cards for each square that are a part of the boxed game). Learning to navigate your way through the Manual smoothly and efficiently will allow the more creative, intuitive aspects of facilitation to come alive for you. This will enable a positive learning experience during the training itself.

We also request that if possible you play at least one facilitated game with an accredited game facilitator near you before the training. If you have not yet done this, we will gladly send you a “country list” of our accredited facilitators.

Please note that adequate preparation is essential. If you are not able to do the preparation work then please consider taking your time and participating in a later training. Our trainers have the right to ask those who arrive unprepared to leave the training rather than burden the other trainees and the trainer. We want all trainees to get the most from their training, and the foundation for this is practice and exploration through proper preparation. Our agreement form includes accepting these conditions for preparation.

Accreditation

Please note that taking the training does not automatically guarantee accreditation. However, if you do the preparatory work we request, there should be no problem in reaching the required standards of competence. If for any reason you do not successfully complete the course, you will return your Manual to InnerLinks. There are two levels of accreditation. Full Accreditation involves reaching a level of competence that permits charging a fee for your services, although you may be asked to continue to practice at home for a period of time before you begin marketing yourself as a fully-fledged facilitator. Provisional Accreditation is given to participants who have reached a certain level of competence but who require further practice with the advanced Game process before an additional supervision session after the training has ended.

People who successfully complete the training will be accredited as Transformation Game Facilitators. You will then have the permission of InnerLinks to use the advanced Facilitators Manual, as well as to offer and promote workshops using the Transformation Game name and logo. These are copyrighted and only facilitators accredited by InnerLinks have the legal right to use them professionally. The same applies to a specially designed 6-player board.
